I think I'm going to be shutting down the forums. I've enabled image based verification and e-mail verification to no avail. The only fix I've found is to check my member list every day and delete the obvious spammers, and keep an eye on the forum for those that I miss. Nobody comes here. This place is dead, and it's both depressing/frustrating and time consuming to keep this place open.

It started off as a fun project, but the community is just too small to have this be a successful site.

I just spent the better half of my night installing an anti-spam hack. Hopefully we'll see a decrease in the spammers here. I was seeing 5-10 accounts every day or two.

If the bot activity decreases ( as it well should ) the forums are here to stay. If not, I'll look into other options to keep it open.

Whoo hoo! 32 spammers blocked so far! ( just check the bottom of the page ). Not a single spammer has made it through since I installed the new registration.
